Reports on the morning and evening flight at the Flower Pot Beer Festival.
The festival is held each year at the pub called the Flower Pot at Cheriton, Hampshire. It's held on the third weekend in August, and flying starts on the Friday evening, and ends on the Bank Holiday Monday night.
It's a very popular festival, and people come from a very wide area to attend. There is a large Beer Marquee and one for Bands and Dancing. One year we tasted approximately 33 different locally brewed beers which were on sale.
Apart from this there is a Curry Tent, an Ice Cream Tent and one for Burgers etc:.
Balloonists are able to camp on-site and we fly out from a field just across the road behind the church.
