These costs are only approximate and do not take into consideration items like repairs to the balloon or the vehicle. Or purchase of ancillary items such as radio aerials, batteries, tyres etc: These will be incurred even if the balloon is left in the vehicle and not used.
ii) Flying costs cover:-
(a) GAS (propane)........................................................................£30
(b) DIESEL....................................................................................£30
These costs are very approximate and depend entirely on length of flight and how far the vehicle needs to travel for the retrieve.

Based on the above we have calculated that 12 members in the group paying just £30 per month would easily cover all the running costs and allow us to build up a fund to replace the balloon and vehicle when necessary.
The daily costs are shared equally between those who fly and those who retrieve and should be normally £10 - £15. If we split the 12 into two teams then everyone should get ample practice at rigging, launching, recovering and flying.
